The Health & Safety Advisor is responsible for establishing, developing and directing the implementation of the EHS on multiple sites across Dublin. Vehicle provided as travel will be required around Greater Dublin.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Site Manager and Company Management in the development and implementation of safe systems of work in line with statutory obligations.
- Work closely with the site based teams and support the development and monitoring of safe systems of work and risk assessments to ensure all project activities are in line with regulation and best practice.
- Auditing and Reporting.
- Lead and influence H&S culture across Projects.
- Support and engage the workforce in the identification of occupational health safety and environmental risk and coach them in risk mitigation.
- Attend Site Meetings with the site team.
- Advise & assist site management in drafting and communicating of company policies and procedures Support the development and delivery of the project induction and other communications to the workforce.
- Provide advice, guidance, and instruction in all health & safety matters to management, safety reps and staff
- Conduct regular inspections and site audits, reporting relevant findings to site and senior management.
- Support coordinate and lead (as necessary) the investigation of incidents to ensure effective learning outcomes and timely closure of actions.
- Produce High Quality reports
- Identify staff training requirements and Deliver appropriate training.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Third level qualification in H&S or a related discipline.
- Experience in Construction projects is essential
- Organised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Full clean driver’s license.

Salary: €55,000.00-€60,000.00 per year
